Warehouse Associate

Alex Food Service is seeking a Warehouse Associate to join its operations team, strengthens the company’s position and achieve desired business goals.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with the Warehouse Manager to process, package and ship orders accurately
• Organize stocks and maintain inventory
• Examine ingoing and outgoing shipments
• Maintain a clean, organized warehouse space
• Receive, unload and place incoming inventory items appropriately
• Check orders, products and packages for defects or damages and document as required
• Recording exact arrival and departure times for shipments
• Operating material handling equipment such as ladders, forklifts and pallet jacks
• Other duties as assigned

Education, Skills and Job Requirements

• High School Diploma
• Organized self-starter and able to communicate well
• Ability and willingness to work flexible shifts including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to stand/walk for full shift as well as lift, push, pull or otherwise move objects constantly
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs as required

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: From $19.00 per hour
