Are you an experienced Civil/Structural Engineer, Chartered or nearing, who no longer wants to do hands on design?

Do you live within sensible commuting distance of Luton?

Would you be interested to work for specialist foundation engineering D&B Contractor?

Projects include design of foundations, piling, enabling works, drainage, sub structures, geotechnical engineering, concrete structures, basements, retaining walls and temporary works packages.

This role would be to act as the Design Manager, as an interface between the design team and the client, in a design delivery role, providing a first class service.

The role will involve reviewing the design, providing design advisory advice, potentially a small amount of hands on design, supporting the site teams, solving engineering challenges, detailed design checking, managing the design programmes, monitoring design changes and taking responsibility for projects.

A minimum of 7 years of UK experience of Civil/Structural Engineering will be required for this role. You must be experienced with hands on design of RC structures to British standards and Eurocodes, proficient with Autocad and ideally Sofistik.

On top of basic salary will be a discretionary bonus scheme, 25 days annual leave and flexible working by agreement. Parking is available.
