Are you looking for the next step in your career as a Civil Design Engineer?

A Civil Design Engineer is required to join the Bearsted, Kent office of this well established and reputable firm of structural and civil engineering consultants.

The company has around 25 staff, split across two offices, the other office being in Surrey.

You need to have a minimum of 3 years of experience in civil and drainage design and be happy to turn your hand to all aspects of the work, which will include design of small estate roads and drainage works for all sorts of buildings projects. You will be working closely with highways authorities to undertake S38 and S278 adoptions as well as dealing with pre-planning enquiries.

Experience using Microdrainage and PDS is important for this role.

The firm work on a variety of buildings structures projects, including residential schemes, commercial buildings, temporary works design and light gauge steel projects. You will need to be a pro-active and dynamic individual, keen to take on responsibility for the civils aspects of these projects and work in a varied role which will include hands on design and plenty of site visits. The office is close to public transport and free parking is also available.
