The Position
The position will assist in the management and coordination of Councils Internal Financial Management reporting functions including budget development, forecasting, performance reporting and stakeholder engagement.

Qualifications & experience

• Tertiary qualifications in Accounting or equivalent relevant qualification
• Requires demonstrated accounting experience in a similar role

Tasks & responsibilities

• Assist in the coordination and development of the annual budget cycle.
• Assist in coordinating and delivering Quarterly Budget Reviews.
• Foster strong relationships with key stakeholders across the organisation to ensure financial information meets requirements.
• Review and analyse financial performance across various business lines, identify emerging budget issues and provide insightful recommendations to assist and support decision making.
• Assist with developing monthly and ad hoc financial
• management reports for senior management and council.

This role will

• Attract a salary of $79,916 to $87,907 plus 10.5% Superannuation
• Work a 35 hour week, with actual days and times being Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 5.00pm, with a fortnightly Rostered Day Off.
