Description:
The successful candidate will act as project support for our development programs and other learning material, collaborate on the maintenance and sustainability of our learning, liaison with key stakeholders in the implementation of our learning, offer contract management support for vendor based materials, and create reports on current state of development. The successful incumbent will have a comprehensive knowledge of adult learning principles and an understanding of current trends in employee development and leadership development. As well as, strong writing/editing, communication, critical thinking, research, and project management capabilities. The incumbent will be a strong team player and be able to demonstrate their internal consultation skills to work effectively with stakeholders and partners in various areas to achieve strategic goals. Excellent interpersonal, collaboration and relationship building skills are key skills for this role.

Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources Management, Adult Education, Applied Behavioral Sciences, Business Administration, or related field is required. Minimum of 5 years’ experience in learning and development or organizational effectiveness with at least 2 years’ experience in an organization of significant size and complexity. Good understanding of the health care industry. A valid driver’s license is required, with the ability to travel province-wide on an occasional basis.
Additional Required Qualifications:
Exceptional communication skills both written and verbal. Strong critical thinking skills and in-depth understanding of evidence-based research to make decisions about program development. Ability to conduct environmental scans and research trends and topical area for program development. Experience collating, analyzing and reporting on qualitative research/data. Skillful at synthesizing information into reports, presentations and other types of communication/learning documents. Experience creating job aids, videos or other self-directed learning materials. Excellent organizational and planning skills. Committed to providing quality services within a team environment. Project management skills are required. Experience using various LMS/LCM/LMX, learning technologies, platforms, software, and collaboration tools.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience implementing blended learning is an asset. Specific experience with Adobe Connect, Zoom, Skype, AHS LMS (MLL) and other AHS tools is an asset. Experience managing projects and documentation using SharePoint would be an asset. Experience managing external vendors and contracts would be an asset. Relevant certifications such as CHRP, CSTD, CACE, CCM, PROSCI, RPR or other related field to maintain currency and proficiency are an asset.
