The Administrative Assistant V is responsible for a high level of professional, well-organized support for the Director and management team. The incumbent is responsible for contributing to the effective and efficient operation of the management team offices. Working under limited supervision, the position is responsible for preparing material for presentations, drafting memos and reports and providing support and follow-up for key issues and meetings. The individual completes, monitors, and follows up on assigned projects and issues, as well as provides assistance to Managers within the program, some of which are confidential and sensitive in nature.
As an Administrative Support V, you will require advanced administrative or specialized skills and knowledge to support complex procedures, practices and initiatives within a department or program.
Required Qualifications:
Completion of post-secondary education (e.g. certificate in office or business administration).
Additional Required Qualifications:
Experience in a medical/hospital setting. A minimum of five years of experience in progressively responsible senior administrative positions within a healthcare-based organization. Advanced/intermediate knowledge of computer technology and applications, including but not limited to Word, Access, Excel, Email, Visio and PowerPoint. Excellent customer service skills, written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to work under pressure with minimal supervision.
