Alberta Cardiology and Medical Consultants Hiring for Nuclear Medicine Technologist Full Time

Alberta Cardiology and Medical Consultants is presently looking for a Nuclear Medicine Technologist for their cardiac facility in Edmonton. Alberta Cardiology is a new up and coming all-in-one cardiology clinic where you will have the opportunity to work with multiple cardiologists and internal medicine doctors and become part of a dynamic team of professionals collaborating to provide the best care to our patients.

As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will be responsible for performing myocardial perfusion testing on patients. Duties you will perform include radiopharmacy and quality control procedures, exercise and pharmacological stress testing, rest and stress imaging and any other requirements of the nuclear cardiology department as described in the company’s procedure manual. The successful applicant will be able to work independently and cooperatively as part of a team and will have demonstrated ability to communicate and deal effectively with patients and their families, coworkers, and physicians and adapt to the ever changing and fast pace of the clinic.

Applicants must be CAMRT and ACMDTT members with a current CPR certificate.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: Up to $39.00 per hour

• Secondary School (required)

Experience:

• Nuclear Technologist: 3 years (preferred)
