Crypto Trader | Crypto/Digital Assets | £240,000 | Hybrid | Sydney
Albert Bow are currently working with a very exciting digital asset platform looking to expand their team massively over the coming months and are currently looking for a crypto trader with HFT experience.
As a Crypto Trader – you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing automated trading systems for cryptocurrencies. Your primary focus will be on leveraging your Python programming skills to create and optimize trading algorithms and strategies.
What will you be doing?
On a day-to-day level, you will…
- Develop and implement automated trading systems using Python for cryptocurrencies, with a focus on delta one trading and options strategies.
- Collaborate with the trading team to understand their requirements and translate them into effective trading algorithms and models.
- Conduct quantitative research and analysis to identify market opportunities and optimize trading strategies.
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of trading algorithms, making necessary adjustments to ensure profitability and risk management.
- Utilize data analysis and visualization tools to extract meaningful insights from market data.
Who are we looking for?
Someone who…
- Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field such as Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or related disciplines. Advanced degree preferred.
- Strong proficiency in Python programming, with demonstrated experience in developing trading algorithms and models.
- Proven experience in delta one trading and options trading, preferably within the cryptocurrency market.
- Solid understanding of financial markets, trading strategies, and risk management principles.
- Proficiency in using quantitative analysis tools, data visualization, and statistical techniques.
This is a hybrid role based in Sydney.
