Alaska Travel Adventures Hiring for Lead CDL Driver/ Guide at Juneau, Alaska Full Time

As the Lead CDL driver guide you will be the leader of our driver team in Juneau working closely with our dock representatives, front office, logistics team, and guide staff to ensure smooth transfers for our guests participating in tours. Key responsibilities include oversight of fleet maintenance, driver and vehicle compliance with DMV/DOT regulations, team and passenger safety, driver training and licensing, as well as DOT application filing and processing.
Duties will include but are not limited to:
- Recruiting & leading a team of up to 25 commercial drivers
- Pre-season & ongoing drive team training regarding proper protocols for guest transfers from cruise dock to/from tour locations
- Maintaining accurate DOT compliant records of employees and vehicle fleet
- Creating a positive, professional culture and work environment
- Understanding and compliance with company safety & operational policies
