Alamont Dental Associates PC Hiring for Check Out Receptionist at Bristol, TN Full Time

We are a long standing but, quickly growing practice seeking an energetic Check Out Receptionist to join our team!

Check Out Receptionist is expected to be friendly and caring with our patients, dedicated to outstanding customer service and be honest.

Having Dental knowledge is preferred; must have exceptional follow-up Skills with insurance companies on Pre-Estimates, as well as have knowledge of treatment planning/case presentation.

Needs to be a confident and authoritative communicator, have professional phone skills.

Must be detail and number oriented, and able to work well both independently and as part of a team.

Be fair and compassionate with patients.

Also need to be helpful with other areas of the office.

Summary: Ensure that all incoming money is accurate and accounted for. To provide Alamont Dental with a liaison for our patients and the business office. This position should be able to ensure all patient claims are submitted properly. Must be able to work with our patients to maximize their insurance benefits and to develop payment arrangements. Must be knowledgeable with Insurance, be able to communicate and educate the patient as to their insurance coverage when receiving a Pre-Estimate. This position is a crucial element in the patient’s experience.

Essential Duties and responsibilities.

Checking patients out and collecting the appropriate payment that is due on the date of service.

Send Claims to insurance correctly to ensure prompt payment from the insurance company.

Follow up on Pre-Estimates that have been sent to the Insurance Company prior to patient appointment.

Ensure all insurance claims and authorizations are submitted electronically.

Resubmit and/or appeal denied claims.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $14.00 – $15.00 per hour
