ALA Johnston Hiring for American Sign Language Teacher (-) at North Carolina Full Time

American Leadership Academy-Johnston is accepting applications for an American Sign Language Teacher (Grades 6-11) for the 2023-2024 school year.

Candidate will work collaboratively with the general education teachers and administrators to develop strategies to meet the needs of each individual student on their caseload.

Job expectations include, but are not limited to:

• Daily classroom instruction as aligned to approved lesson plans.
• Ensure that all school and district policies and procedures are adhered to.
• Ensure a sustainable relationship with parents, school personnel, and members of the public.
• Submit grades and attendance according to the procedures of the school.
• Prepare classroom for instruction.
