Job Title: Plumbing Maintenance Technician
Location: Camden, London
Salary: £36,000 – £37,000 per annum

Work Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• Between 7am and 4pm (36 hours a week)

Position Overview:
We seek a skilled Plumbing Maintenance Technician for building repairs, maintenance, and replacements in Camden schools, children’s centers, and Council-owned properties. The ideal candidate ensures high-quality service, adhering to industry standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Execute repairs, maintenance, and installations with a plumbing bias.
2. Conduct reactive repairs and planned maintenance/statutory testing.
3. Perform tasks like TMV servicing, tap temperature monitoring, and sanitary ware replacement.
4. Utilize handheld technology for work management and documentation.
5. Ensure compliance with L8 legislation and maintenance/testing requirements.
6. Possess full DBS clearance and ideally experience in school/commercial environments.
7. Demonstrate excellent customer service skills.
8. Exercise adaptability and proactive problem-solving.
9. Hold a valid full driving license.

Qualifications and Experience:

1. Experience in plumbing maintenance, preferably in schools or commercial settings.
2. Familiarity with handheld technology.
3. Understanding of L8 legislation and associated requirements.
4. Strong problem-solving skills.
5. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
7. Hold a full DBS clearance and a clean criminal record.
8. Possession of a valid full driving license.
