Aksa Power Generation USA Hiring for Logistics and Operations Specialist at Conroe, TX Full Time

JOB Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day supply and logistics activities to maximize the efficiency, reliability, timeliness, and cost effectiveness of the organization supply chain
• Examine existing procedures or opportunities for streamlining activities to meet customer needs
• Direct the movement, storage, or processing of inventory to ensure a cost-effective flow of activities
• Develop and implement schedules and procedures
• Allocate resources to meet targets in areas such as transit and delivery times; inventory levels; purchasing, warehousing and storage costs
• Liaise with functional and operations area managers to ensure supply activities are integrated with other parts of the business
• Lead, direct, evaluate and develop staff to ensure resources are used effectively and work schedules and targets are met
• Actively involved in data capturing and audit programs, physical inventory, cycle counting, delivery and non-conformance material flow process
• Drive supply chain initiatives between sales and production team
• Fully functional within all phases of import/export ocean/air documentation.
• Work as customer service team to develop and provide excellent customer service.
• Handle and process all import documents. Communicate and coordinate with origin offices.
• Ensure strict compliance Company Policies, FMC rules and regulations.
• Attention to detail, deadline-oriented, time management, and team player.
• Good verbal and business writing communication skills. PC literate, word, excel, etc.
• Proven ability to communicate effectively with clients and vendors.

Qualifications:

• Must be detailed orientated, highly organized and able to multi-task.
• Must be team player, confident and self-driven.
• With positive attitude, able to work under pressure and excellent problem-solving skills.
• Working knowledge of SAP ERP system
• Ability to use self-initiative and be able to work well under pressure
• Must have strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills necessary to work in a cooperative team environment
