This portfolio of work will form a very significant part of this organisation’s plans and investment for this year and beyond and is a fantastic opportunity to join early and influence at the outset of a significant multi-year program.

This is an opportunity to bring your expertise as a Data SME to an organisation solely dedicated to the health of our communities.

The role could be based in either Sydney or Melbourne.

The Role:

The Data Lead is responsible for leading and managing the data team within a project/program, which is responsible for collecting, storing, migrating, managing, and analysing data for the project.

The Data Lead will work with cross-functional teams to define and implement data roadmap, develop data products and services, and ensure the quality and security of data.

About You:

• Assume sole responsibility for leading the Data stream within the program
• Author and own the program Data Roadmap and associated data products
• Lead and support a team of dedicated Data Analysts & Data Engineers to execute according to the agreed roadmap and timelines
• Ensure integration between the program solution and the Ramsay Data Hub
• Ensure all project data is correctly classified and is appropriately protected
• Ensure communication is clear, dates, deliverables are realistic and agreed to
• Ensure alignment to Data & Insights policies, guidelines and procedures

To Be Successful in this role you will have:

• Minimum of 10 years in a data related-role
• Strong data management skills in data architecture, data migration and ELT
• Strong data analysis skills in visualisation, profiling and story telling
• Lead and manage the data team, including hiring, training, and performance management
• Define and implement project data roadmap and initiatives
• Develop project data products and services
• Ensure the quality and security of data
• Work with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze data
• Communicate data findings and recommendations to stakeholders
