We are currently partnering with a Victorian State Government Department on the Procurement and Implementation of an Enterprise Portfolio Management System and are looking for Business Analyst to join our team on this project for a contract position.

The role will be based in Melbourne in a hybrid working environment.

What will you be doing?

• Gathering business requirements
• Conducting market research for enterprise Portfolio solutions
• Eliciting and consolidating business requirements
• Preparing RFQ and market engagement materials
• Supporting all procurement, project and system deployment activities from a business and functional perspective
• Providin requirements traceability through to deployment

You will be responsible for:

• Business Workshop Material
• Business Process Flows
• User Stories
• Business Requirement Definition, Functional Design(s) specification
• Data and Security classification
• Requirement Traceability Matrix
• Document Epics, Features, User Stories in DevOps
• System Integration Specifications
• RFQ and market engagement materials

To be successful in this role you will have:

• A minimum 3 years of proven system solution analytical experience.
• Experience with RFQ preferably in a Government environment.
• Experience conducting market research on systems.
• Procurement experience would be highly regarded.
• Proven experience in Agile delivery as a business/functional Analyst.
• Extensive experience with documenting business requirements and functional design through user stories, wireframes, screen mock ups, etc.
• Experience with negotiating with users, technical staff and product owners to achieve desired outcomes.
• Experience in undertaking process re-engineering, including capturing business process as-is and to-be states in process flows.
• Experience in data analysis and advanced excel and SQL capabilities is desired.
• Experience in System integration specifications.
• Experience in showcasing of system solution and assisting with User Acceptance Testing.
