Talent Acquisition Lead

Purpose of the Role

This varied role will take ownership of the acquisition of external talent along with identifying and enabling the promotion of internal talent. It will focus on developing and providing a service that meets the current and future needs of the business, through improvement initiatives aligned to equality, diversity and inclusion requirements. Contributing to the way the business attracts, engages and progresses talent.

Job Responsibilities

• Responsible for managing the end to end recruitment lifecycle
• Continuously look to improve the recruitment and on-boarding process to ensure a future-focused function
• Screening applications and updating candidates and Hiring Managers on the hiring processes
• Sourcing candidates via online platforms (e.g. portfolio sites, professional networks)
• Organising of interviews and assessment centres and providing feedback to candidates
• Managing the candidate offer process ensuring fairness and consistency
• Advising best practise and offering advice to Hiring Managers
• Liaising with recent new hires, gaining feedback on the recruitment and on-boarding process to action improvements where required
• Maintaining a positive presence on job boards, careers pages and social media channels, creating and utilising compelling and informative content
• Attending suitable careers fairs to promote AirTanker
• Supporting Hiring Managers with the on-boarding and induction of new hires
• Producing advertising campaigns to promote AirTanker as an employer of choice and marketing appropriately
• Ensuring cost effective recruitment methods are utilised
• Maintain understanding of recruiting trends and legal requirements
• Ensuring diversity and inclusion are key in all recruitment activities
• Designing as well as implementing employee referral plans and managing the process
• Reporting on and presenting key recruitment metrics to the business
• Analysing retention and turnover rates for the purpose of forecasting hiring needs
• Managing the company PSL ensuring return on investment
• Owning and updating the New Starter SharePoint page
• Managing Contractor recruitment and on-boarding
• Managing SR and RAF recruitment as required

The Individual

• Experience or attracting and recruiting skilled technical roles.
• Demonstrable resourcing experience managing the end-to-end recruitment lifecycle.
• Able to build effective and strong internal and external stakeholder relationships.
• Experience of managing high volume recruitment.
• Experience of creating and implementing initiatives to promote AirTanker as an employer of choice.
• Experience of compiling and presenting key recruitment metrics.
• Accurate, confidential, self-motivated and able to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
• Understanding of Equality, Diversity and Inclusion and its implementation in a business environment.
• Experience of undertaking hiring manager training to ensure recruitment and on-boarding best practice.
