Purpose of Job: Responsible for overall controlling responsibilities of a manufacturing plant and ownership of the legal entity general ledger. Strong SAP knowledge is crucial for this role.

Essential Duties:

• Overall controllership and ownership of the legal entity general ledger
• Manage accruals and review balance sheet monthly
• Account reconciliations
• Bank reconciliations
• Be the site financial process expert for costing, accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Perform hands-on month-end closing responsibilities
• Support transfer pricing process as needed
• Support the plant management team with routine and ad-hoc reporting of KPIs and other metrics
• Partner with US based sales team to understand margins and the impact of plant operations to improve those margins
• Create an EBITDA / cash focus for the operations
• Provide forecasts to corporate as required
• Explain margin performance of the business monthly
• Drive the annual planning for the site and US business

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or related field required. CMA, CPA, and / or MBA
• Understand the needs and focus of a private equity ownership group.
• Must have a minimum of ten years’ experience gained through increasingly responsible positions within finance.

Financial modeling skills:

Strong costing experience required ; strongly prefer experience in activity based costing. Fundamental understanding and ability to execute processes in the SAP FI/CO modules understanding the linkage to other SAP modules and actual manufacturing activities on the shop floor. Thorough understanding of financial analysis techniques required. Must demonstrate strategic short and long-term perspectives. Must have ability to deal effectively with all levels of the organization.

Pay: $61,490.00 – $100,000.00 per year
