Landing systems are:

• A complex area of aerospace requiring the integration of systems, structural and design engineering disciplines.

• Highly integrated into the aircraft functions being key during the ground, take off and landing phases.

• Operated in a harsh environment with several consumables such as tyres and brakes

This area of engineering is ripe for digital transformation. We are embracing the data revolution, and bringing digital technology and data science to the forefront of what we do.

HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE TO THE TEAM

• Ensure we take the best approach developing software solutions and technically integrating these into the Airbus technology and capability landscape. This may include targeting deployment on the aircraft product and working with Airbus’s leading aviation data ecosystem: Skywise .

• Specifying digital solution and software architectures by working with higher level architects.

• Enable the team to develop modular software that leverages API driven approaches when appropriate.

• Support the creation of DevOps pipelines.

• Define software development best practices.

• Contribute as a key or lead software developer in the implementation of one or more digital solution products.

ABOUT YOU

• We are open to varied technical backgrounds and experiences.

• Significant experience in Python.

• Experience delivering in an Agile team.

• Experience deploying and maintaining software in multi-cloud and on-prem environments, with potential familiarity with AWS.

• Familiarity with CI/CD and DevSecOps.

• Values trust and team togetherness.
