Airbus Hiring for HR Administrator at Oxford Full Time

Airbus Helicopters is the world’s largest helicopter manufacturer and the company’s site at Oxford Airport is Britain’s civil helicopter hub.

AHUK offers considerable experience in helicopter sales, bespoke completions, maintenance and spares support. Its in-house engineering capabilities include design, customisation, installation, flight-testing and certification, as well as technical support, maintenance, training and the supply of spares for civil and military applications.

AHUK is the MoD’s chosen provider of helicopters and maintenance for its Defence Helicopter Flying school (referred to as MFTS) located in RAF Shawbury (Shropshire) and RAF Valley (Anglesey).

Description/Overall purpose of the Job

To be the first point of contact in the HR department, involved in all aspects of HR support and co-ordination.

Proactively seek to improve processes in the department of Human Resources.

Key Duties:
Deal with all aspects of the new starter process: production of offer letter and contract of employment, preparation of new starter file, adding new starter to HR databases, recording probation dates etc

Preparation of induction packs and performing the HR Day 1 induction

Administration of the master payroll file and exception reporting; being the point of liaison between AH UK and payroll shared services, a combination of manual entries into an Excel spreadsheet and direct changes in Workday HR database.

Deal with general HR walk in and email enquiries and correspondence e.g. responding to requests for references, updating contracts, rejection letters.

Ensure leavers are processed correctly

Administrator for the Time and Attendance System and HR personnel database and for the global Airbus database – Workday

Management of Internships

Undertake ad hoc reports, research and activities as directed by the Head of HR

Organise company flu jabs and other medicals

Knowledge and Skills:
Intermediate IT Skills

Strong organisational skills.

First class written and spoken English skills

Education, Qualifications or special training:
Selection Criteria

ESSENTIAL

GCSE+/A level

Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Outlook.

6 months in a similar role.

DESIRABLE

An HR qualification or working towards one.

Knowledge of personnel management software

Experience in Payroll
