AIR Recruitment Hiring for Storeperson at Newcastle, New South Wales, Australia Full Time

• Full-time permanent role * $30 per hour

Our client is a trusted and respected business supplying industrial and engineering products to a broad range of industries. They are well known for their quality service, extensive product range and competitive pricing.

Due to growth, an exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Storeperson to join their thriving team.

The Role

• Receiving of incoming goods, check for damage and discrepancies
• Loading and unloading of trucks
• Picking and packing of orders
• Arrange delivery/freight as per client request
• Annual stocktake (completed during work hours)
• General housekeeping of warehouse
• Ensure workplace health and safety policies and procedures are adhered to at all times

What We’re Looking For

• Forklift licence
• Drivers licence (MR Licence favourable but not essential)
• Experience as Storeperson
• Good communication, time and organisational skills
• Sound literacy skills and basic PC knowledge
• Highly motivated, flexible with a solid work ethic and positive attitude
• Able to work in a team environment as well as autonomously
• Accurate attention to detail
• Ability to learn a broad range of products quickly
• Must have a strong understanding of WHS
• Demonstrated knowledge of the relevant transport laws and regulations
• A positive can-do attitude
