The Opportunity
We are seeking a proactive and organised accounts payable officer to join our dynamic and highly successful finance team in our Nunawading head office.

Your role, like many in our organisation, is to provide exceptional service to our external and internal customers. We expect you to work proactively to improve our company efficiency and effectiveness as well as your own personal development.

Specifically, your role has the following responsibilities:

• Process supplier invoices by matching to PO and coding to the correct general ledger account in Epicor.
• Generate accurate payments for local and overseas suppliers in timely manner.
• Process monthly credit card statements and employee reimbursements with approvals.
• Investigate and resolve any PO issues.
• Reconcile bank transactions daily and update cash book.
• Complete month-end tasks, AP transactions, and accounts payable sub ledger reconciliations.
• Assist to projects / data analysis tasks assigned in timely manner.
• Support teamwork and the company’s culture.

About You:
We know this is an exciting opportunity, but there are a few things we need from you:

• At least 1 year of accounting experience preferable
• Must be switched on, proactive and enjoy working in a very busy environment
• Needs to be able to work cohesively in a team and a strong team player (a must) as well as be able to work independently when required
• Can demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Must have strong attention to detail and strong work ethics
• Can demonstrate exceptional organisational and time management skills.
