An engineering consulting firm located in Downtown Denver has an immediate opening for a Part-Time Accounting Assistant to join their team. This role will be a part-time position working 20 hours a week. This is a great opportunity for a hard-working, dynamic candidate to gain corporate accounting experience.

Responsibilities:

• Process weekly office and project accounts payable
• Process weekly expense reports using Concur
• Generate, track, and record purchase orders
• Order office supplies as needed
• Process weekly client billing, including all supporting documentation such as timesheets, expense detail, and spreadsheets
• Provide assistance and back-up to other accounting staff as needed
• Provide support on special requests and ad-hoc projects as necessary

Requirements:

• Previous accounts payable experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel using and creating basic formulas. Familiarity with VLookups and macros is required
• Positive attitude and ability to work well in with a team
• Demonstrated communication and organizational skills
