Our organisation seeks an energetic, enthusiastic, trustworthy and professional Software Engineer Intern to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, testing and studying software systems and applications. The Intern will also be asked to provide technical advice to internal and external customers in various settings and will need to be a self-motivating individual who can work independently with minimal supervision or direction.

Tasks

· Develop code in python for web application development and deployment.

· Design and maintain RESTful APIs.

· Write efficient, maintainable, and testable code.

· Write unit/integration tests to improve code quality.

· Write documentation following software engineering best practices

Personal Skills

· Background in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science or related fields.

· Experience in working with Python (OOP)

· Good knowledge of Git

· Good understanding of relational databases

· Confident in working with REST APIs

· Experience with Docker is a plus.

· Willingness to learn.

Job Type: Internship
Contract length: 6-12 months

Schedule:

• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
• No weekends
