About the role

We are seeking an experienced Recruitment Coordinator to facilitate the end-to-end recruitment process for all divisions by maintaining efficient systems and processes, while providing support to Mangers as required. This is full-time permanent position, working from our Kingsford office, located 10 minutes from Gawler.

Duties

• Assist and liaise with Managers regarding the completion of administrative recruitment processes
• Develop and update relevant position descriptions
• Develop advertisements for appropriate advertising mediums – online, social media, print media
• Respond to queries in person, by phone and email from various stakeholders such as potential candidates and recruitment agencies
• Manage and collate job applications and responses to all applicants within a timely manner
• Short-listing and screening of candidates
• Arrange interviews and conduct interviews, developing and update interview guides as required
• Undertake relevant reference checking, arrange pre-employment medicals and working rights verifications as required
• Maintain a candidate database with relevant and skilled candidates for repeat roles
• Maintain the Recruitment Status Report for weekly and monthly reporting
• Attend meetings and liaise with managers as required to provide updates on recruitment progress and determine needs
• On acceptance of employment, liaise with relevant stakeholder to coordinate the onboarding / induction process for new and transitioning employees.

Skills & Experience

• Previous experience in an in-house Recruitment role – preferably in the Construction, Manufacturing or Mining industries
• Experience recruiting for both trade based and professional roles
• Knowledge of and ability to interpret Awards and EBAs
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• High level of organisation, initiative and ability to work independently
• Ability to meet deadlines and prioritise through effective time management
• Previous experience with Kronos HRIS will be highly regarded
