Ahlstrom Hiring for Production Engineer at Kaukauna, WI Full Time

We are seeking a Production Engineer to join our Kaukauna, WI team! This individual will be responsible for the achievement of quality, rate of operation, safety, cost, maintenance, and environmental objectives of a paper machine production line consisting of the paper machine, stock prep, and winder. The candidate will also be responsible for assisting with projects. Relocation package available.

As a Production Engineer, you will:

• Ability to lead a production line.
• Deliver results by setting goals and tracking with key performance indicators.
• Assist in developing capital plans.
• Drive operations/maintenance reliability effort.
• Provide crews with needed equipment and training resources; provide guidance to foster individual growth.
• Audit crews to ensure they are working safely, following safety requirements, and are able to identify potential hazards. Confront and correct safety hazards and unsafe acts in an appropriate and timely way.
• Assess processes for effectiveness and help to implement improvements.
• Assign scheduled work and oversee the day-to-day direction or personnel relative to job safety, quality and workmanship. Develop individual accountability for job completion and timeliness.

Skills For Your Success

• Process engineering experience required, with a degree in Paper Science, Chemical Engineering or Mechanical engineering preferred
• Good written and verbal communication skills as well as teamwork skills
• Knowledge of MS Office
• The flexibility to work additional hours during the week, on weekends, or outside of regular office hours as needed
