AGRILAND FS, a financially strong cooperative,dedicated to the development & success of employees is looking for a highly productive leader that is a well-organized financial accountant with experience preparing financial reports and troubleshooting business procedures and policies

Responsibilities:

• Assist with the leadership, trouble shooting and preparation of financial statements
• Calculate ending inventory valuation
• Reconcile product shrink and chart of account balances
• Generate reports as needed for compliance and business needs
• Assist with preparing multi-jurisdictional tax returns
• Ability and willingness to do basic accounting and clerk activities when required

Requirements:

• Minimum of a four-year degree in accounting or business with 3 – 4 years experience preferred
• Experience accepting new responsibilities within accounting department and taking ownership of trouble shooting larger pieces of the company financials
• Experience preparing financials for monthly and yearly reports
• Computer skills in Microsoft Office, experience creating reports from Excel spreadsheets and the ability to master proprietary business software.
• Excellent internal customer service skills
• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to create positive change and inspire others
• Demonstrate a positive work ethic with the ability to produce accurate work in a productive office environment
• Experience and desire to learn in depth knowledge of an entire organization
• Outgoing personality with the ability to have critical conversations
• Ability to learn quickly and demonstrate excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects
