Job Summary
We are currently looking to recruit a Finance Graduate – Operations to join our team at Florette in Lichfield.
Working hours: 37.5 hours p/w, Monday to Friday

Florette is one of three UK food manufacturing factories who are owned by the French co-operative group, Agrial. Agrial has operations across 18 regions with 280 farming outlets and it’s not just about lettuce!

As well as the 3 factories we also have a farming operation – Agrial Fresh Farms. All UK sites operate under the name of Agrial Fresh Produce Limited and fall under Agrial’s vegetable division. The business is more recognisable in the UK by its Florette salad brand, and we are now one of the UK’s leading producers in the industry. Our Florette site is a well-established manufacturing business unit based in Lichfield, Staffordshire. Under the brand, Florette, the site processes and distributes pre-packed, ready to eat fresh salad bags to some of the UK’s well-known retailers.

Agrial Fresh Produce want to support and develop high calibre Graduate talent within the Finance function, to create our Finance and Business leaders of the future. We want to nurture broad and rounded Finance skills and experience, coupled with industry specific business expertise, to add significant value throughout our business

Purpose and Background

· To help the Business understand its performance against its KPIs (Budget, Last Year, Forecasts, Market)

· Based primarily at the Lichfield site with a need to travel to other sites at least once a month. There will be a secondment to the Wigan site – To discuss at time of offering of position.

· Business facing role with a need to liaise extensively with the Operational & Commercial Teams

Key Accountabilities

· BUUK – Daily and Weekly Operational Performance Reporting

· BUUK Procurement partnering

· BUUK Business Improvement Projects, working across the 4 sites in the UK

· Monthly analysis on Sales and Margin (Volume, Price, Cost analysis)

· Budget/Forecast control

· Key point of contact between the UK and our HQ in France

· Assist in the production of costings, optimisation and Customer account planning

· Other tasks as required by the needs of the business and finance team

Personal Profile

· Degree in Accounting and Finance, or similar relevant subject

· An ambitious individual with a thirst for knowledge and experience

· Desire to work in a true management accounting role in a fast-paced food environment

· Ability to deal with multiple stakeholder priorities

· Skilled in making Finance accessible to non-finance leaders
