AgReserves, Inc Hiring for Software Engineer Job at Remote Full Time

AgReserves, Inc is seeking proactive and collaborative Software Engineers to join the full-stack software development team. The Software Engineer resolves a variety of issues of moderate scope with frameworks and languages that require analysis of multiple factors and good judgement. The ideal candidate can achieve success by working independently and as a supportive member of a cohesive team. This position is remote work, but the employee must be based out of a qualifying state.

Responsibilities:

• Solve a variety of technical challenges by using advanced knowledge of technical specializations: front-end web, back-end API, mobile, and Windows.
• Leverage proficiency in a variety of programming languages a variety of software frameworks.
• Understand unit testing and overall application design.
• Apply unit testing best practices by writing meaningful unit and integration tests.
• Evaluate tasks, big and small, and appropriately utilize software design patterns.
• Break projects down into achievable, technical tasks.
• Work with Product Managers to develop effective User Stories.
• Upkeep of industry knowledge and development of technical skills through continued education.

Qualifications:

• Technical experience in software development (we are hiring entry level and intermediate level)
• High School diploma/equivalent. Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a technical field preferred.
• Intermediate knowledge of C#, .NET Core, JavaScript, React.
• Preferred Skills: Atlassian (JIRA, Bitbucket), Git, Agile Processes, Mobile application and database development.
• Demonstrated proactive efforts of continued education in data and software engineering best practices, patterns, and anti-patterns.
• Strong communication skills with ability to effectively communicate concepts, using verbal and written skills, to technical and non-technical colleagues.
• Proven ability to solve complex business problems by applying data and software development knowledge.
• Strong peer leadership skills and the ability to influence without authority.
• Able to work overtime and after-hours to meet deadlines, as needed.
