Reporting To: Senior GM – Finance & Accounts

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented professional to lead financial control and plant accounting operations. The role involves managing cost structures, ensuring compliance, and driving financial efficiency across the manufacturing unit.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Control & Costing

• Manage accurate accounting and financial control across all cost centres.
• Monitor plant expenses against budgets (conversion cost, inventory, freight, overheads, etc.).
• Prepare and present monthly variance and cost reports to management.
• Improve costing methods, cost sheets, and productivity metrics.

Governance & Compliance

• Ensure adherence to accounting systems, internal controls, and financial prudence.
• Identify trends, risks, and exceptions; proactively flag issues to management.
• Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements (GST, direct/indirect taxes, professional tax, income tax).
• Support audits and ensure timely closure of internal audit observations.

Plant Accounts Operations

• Oversee day-to-day factory accounts including billing, AP/AR, inventory control, general ledger, and fixed assets.
• Ensure timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closures.
• Drive process improvements and cost-saving initiatives across the plant.

Qualifications & Experience

• Qualification: CA / ICWA / MBA (Finance)
• Experience: 15–20 years (preferably in manufacturing/plant environment)
• Software: Hands-on experience with Tally (mandatory)
