As the P&C and Remuneration Analyst, you will provide P&C with analytical support and data-driven insights for business initiatives and solutions. You will support the delivery of the remuneration and benefits strategy through analytics and as a subject-matter expert. In addition, you will be pro-active by seeking improvements in processes and reporting across the broader P&C team.
What you’ll be doing:
Reporting to the Executive Remuneration & Analytics Lead, you will:
- Provide management and analysis of remuneration data, providing insights and inputs to inform decision making
- Complete gender pay equity analysis and make recommendations to address any gaps
- Evaluate/map roles using the Korn Ferry Hay Group job evaluation methodology
- Assist with the collation and analysis of any data for remuneration benchmarking purposes
- Complete annual salary survey submissions
- Provide support and analysis for the annual remuneration review
- Undertake analytics and provide data management support for initiatives across the P&C team, including talent management and P&C dashboards
- Coordinate the delivery of AGL’s reward and recognition program, participate in reviews of the program
- Monitor and respond to remuneration and benefit queries
About You
A HR / Remuneration and Benefits background would be beneficial. You could also be in an analytical role in finance, procurement, AP/AR looking for a new challenge or change into a supportive P&C team. You will understand the importance of discretion and upholding confidentiality. Exceptional communication skills (both verbal and written) are essential, as is the ability to partner and collaborate across the wider P&C team. To be successful in this position, you will have the curious mindset to be able to provide feedback on processed and provide recommendations for any new benefits for consideration.
What you’ll bring to the table:
- Demonstrated experience in a corporate environment within an analytical role
- Intermediate to expert level in the use of Microsoft Excel
- Strong analytical skills and high level of attention to detail
- Knowledge of P&C and/or remuneration concepts would be an advantage
- Korn Ferry HAY job evaluation methodology qualified would be highly regarded (training to be provided, if required)
- Tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Accounting, Law, or related business discipline
