Aggrego Consulting Hiring for Banking Product Subledger Accounting Consultant Job at Remote Full Time

• The following are the activities performed by this role:
• Provide expertise on Derivatives, securities, commercial lending and leasing products, sub ledger and Finance processes, matching and open item management, reconciliations, chart of accounts, multi-currency and multi-GAAP ledger requirements
• Conduct current state analysis of manual and automated activities and document the process, data and reporting issues
• Analyze finance processes, identify inputs, process and outputs and create process and data flows
• Perform mapping and gapping of requirements and work with solution teams to document options and decisions
• Analyze manual journal entry uploads, General Ledger reports, financial statements, identify and document suppliers and consumers of data, source data attributes, data layouts and data flows.
• Document business events/economic activity sourced and booked into the General Ledger as manual adjustments, root cause analysis, current and future process flows

Role Requirements:

• Experience and knowledge of one or more of the following Financial Services Industry products:
• Securities and Derivatives – Interest Rate Swaps, Currency Swaps, credit default swaps and counterparties, clearing and settlement, reporting
• Commercial Loans – syndicate loans, commodity funds, Commercial loans, Beneficiary rights on loans/ receivables etc.
• Leasing – Commercial, Aviation, Shipping etc.
• Experience working with product control, reconciliation, transaction operations, Finance Record to Report process, Financial close cycles, SEC/FSA/others reporting lines, roll-ups
• Knowledge of Multi-currency, multi-GAAP, intercompany, consolidation, cumulative translation adjustments (CTA) concepts and provide SME support
• Define business requirements, map and gap against Sub Ledger Accounting critical path activities and components

• Technical accounting background for one or more of the Financial Services Industry products is highly desirable

• Hands-on accounting analysis of large financial and operational data sets

• Microsoft Office tools, Manual and automated processing, accounting templates for JE creation

• Experience working with Credit Risk, Liquidity Risk, Funding Value Adjustments, Credit Value Adjustments, Mark to Market of counterparty risk and financial adjustments

• Experience working with any of the following – SAP FPSL, Microgen Accounting Hub, Workday Accounting Center, Oracle Cloud Financials, Oracle Accounting Hub Cloud Services, Oracle Financial Services Analytical Applications experience
