Responsibilities :

In the role of a Logistics Analyst working in Milwaukee, WI you will be part of the Compliance & Rates team within the Customer Supply Chain Organization.

This position s to the Sr. Logistics Analyst within Compliance & Rates, and works closely with various groups within the Customer Supply Chain org (Load Control, Transportation Master Data, Regional Transportation Managers, Claims, Transportation Finance) as well as other areas within the company (Procurement, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Brewing Materials).

nalysis & ing :

• Freight payment management and dispute resolution ensuring accurate and timely payment to our carriers.
• Management of freight payment for over-the-road, intermodal, rail, import / export, ocean, and LTL / small pack.
• Ensure processes and systems are robust to support $500M yearly freight spend.
• Management of third party payment vendor for any invoices not paid systemically through our internal TMS.
• pplication of financial analysis techniques, tools, and concepts to help drive business results.
• Daily / weekly / monthly / quarterly review and resolution of various exception s.
• Generation of weekly / monthly metrics & KPIs.
• Management of import and export invoices.
• Contract auditing, rate validation, audit compliance.
• Special projects, process improvement initiatives, and process documentation / SOP creation.

Process & Systems :

• Understanding and facilitating the integration of business processes, people, and relevant technology, in order to identify, configure, and communicate useful information.
• Provide practical business counsel to support project teams across the enterprise.
• Seeking information from customers / business partners to identify and improve non-value-added practices.
• Extracting and processing key information to draw conclusions and / or summarize results.
• Using a systematic approach to evaluate alternatives, make fact-based decisions, and evaluate the consequences of decisions.
• Reviewing, evaluating, and prioritizing tasks / project assignments, identifying key issues and clearly communicating to management.
