We are looking for a motivated Recruitment Specialist to join the Age Concern Hampshire HR team. The role will give the successful applicant opportunity to develop candidate attraction and will be solely responsible for delivering an effective, proactive and professional end to end recruitment service.
JOB PURPOSE
To manage and develop the recruitment process for all vacancies within Age Concern Hampshire (ACH). Focussing on candidate attraction, to bring ideas and strategies to increase the propensity for candidates to want to work for ACH whilst reducing the candidate journey and the time to hire.
To ensure that an effective, proactive and professional recruitment service is delivered across the organisation
To work within the HR team to improve the recruitment and other related processes and procedures
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
· Write adverts and job descriptions for all vacancies internally and externally using the most appropriate method to source the best candidates
· To reduce time to hire at all stages of the process
· To manage third party recruitment platforms such as Indeed and to maximise exposure of adverts to potential applicants?
· To engage with candidates at the earliest point after an application is received
· To collate applications and short list candidates for interview as per the internal recruitment service level agreement
· To prepare interview questions and packs for the interview.
· Liaise with hiring manager to arrange interviews and ensure candidates are prepared and bring necessary documentation with them to interview.
· To support the hiring manage, attend interviews as and when required
· Maintain candidate information in compliance with GDPR and other regulations
· Ensure references are taken and that right to work requirements are legally compliant.
· To identify improvements to the recruitment process and work with the HR team to implement them
· To work with the HR team to improve other recruitment-related processes, such as induction, training and GDPR compliance
· Support the hiring manager to coordinate the induction and training needed when on-boarding new candidates

QUALIFICATIONS & TRAINING
· CIPD Qualified, minimum Level 3
· Evidence of continuous professional development
KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE
· Experience of developing innovative candidate attraction strategies
· Experience of in-house recruiting for all levels of employees
· Experience of recruiting for the health care of care sector, or another sector where recruitment can be a challenge
· Experience of implementing new, or improving current, recruitment processes
SKILLS & ABILITIES
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
· Ability to work to deadlines without supervision
· Ability to work under pressure and prioritise work
· Ability to work as part of a team
· Ability to use initiative to improve processes and deliver an excellent level of service
· An understanding of the importance of maintaining confidentiality of information
· Knowledge of the legal framework of recruitment, DBS procedures and right to work legislation
· Proficient in the use of Microsoft office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)

LOCATION – Hybrid Working; Based from home with a requirement to work from ACH offices as required
