Job Summary

Position required to support the Regional Tax Manager in meeting the groups direct tax obligations in EME & APA territories. Primary areas of focus will be in respect of direct tax reporting, transfer pricing (in conjunction with Global Transfer Pricing Manager), UK tax return preparation, numerical analyses for tax audits/ projects and preparing clear, accurate and commercially intelligent tax advice on transactions and operations undertaken.

Job Responsibilities

The key areas of responsibility of the role will be:

• Assisting in the preparation of US GAAP tax numbers for quarterly reporting and forecasting
• Supervision of monthly tax accounting for business units and preparation of EME & APA division consolidated tax accounts
• Preparation of monthly transfer pricing calculations for EME & US and posting of transfer pricing adjustments
• Maintenance of SAP discounts to minimize transfer pricing adjustments required
• Preparation of UK tax return
• Numerical analyses to support Regional Tax Manager in responding to tax audits, informing advice on commercial projects and analyzing professional fee spend
• Communication of tax strategy and principles across the business

Minimum Qualifications

• The candidate should be educated to degree level and hold, or be training for, an ACA qualification (or equivalent) accounting qualification
• Proven experience in a finance environment is required and experience in industry (as opposed to practice) would be an advantage.
• An understanding of accounting systems such as OneStream and SAP is desirable.
