Affinity Water Hiring for HR Assistant at Hatfield Full Time

In this role you will work closely with the Talent Aquisition Team and wider HR team to provide an efficient recruitment and new joiner service to the business. Some of the typical duties you can expect to work on will include:

• Managing the share inbox to act as a first line response to employee query and questions.
• Arranging induction programmes and providing welcome packs to new employees
• Take ownership of the probationary period process and work with line managers to ensure that they are completed on time and any queries are followed up on
• Sending out contracts and associated paperwork to successful candidates and tracking responses and dealing with any queries
• Ensuring all relevant background checks are completed
• Ensuring a smooth onboarding process from the point of paperwork being completed up to day one of employment
• Organise and maintain employee records
• Update internal databases and HR Information System (Oracle Fusion) to maintain accurate data during the employee life cycle
• Prepare HR documents as requested
• Respond to employee and line manager queries regarding HR-related issues

It’s okay – you may not have all the relevant skills and experience but we would ideally like someone who has worked in an administrative support role and has familiarity with the full recruitment and selection cycle. Someone who is able to turn their hand to learning new systems and has the ability to work on their own initiative and collaboratively with the team. A multi-tasker who likes working to tight deadlines and across multiple projects. Finally, you will need excellent attention to detail and a high standard of written and verbal communication – the rest we can train and support you with!

In addition to joining a friendly and fun team you will work on a hybrid basis with a minimum of x2 days per week in the office and receive a generous pension plan and 26 days annual leave and benefits package.
