Medical Records Scanner – Responsible for maintaining Electronic Medical Records (EMR) by ensuring that all pertinent information is properly scanned into each record. This is not a patient-facing position.

Education and/or Experience:

• High school or equivalent, required
• Technical proficiency/computer literacy, required
• Experience in a similar position (such as an administrative assistant), preferred
• Working knowledge of medical terminology and HIPAA laws, preferred

Pay and Benefits:

• $15.50 / hour
• Plus Employee Profit Sharing Bonuses paid quarterly

Schedules:

• Part-time, between 25-30 hours per week
• 5-6 hours a day, Monday-Friday

What We Need: We are currently seeking an energetic, driven, and team-oriented Medical Records Scanner with exceptional organizational skills, excellent computer skills, and ready to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining great attention to detail. The applicant must be reliable and punctual, and have excellent communication skills, and a willingness to learn. The job will primarily consist of scanning and sending documentation to employers ~80%, with the remaining time spent coordinating the completion of paperwork at the clinic. As an entry-level position, this is a great foot in the door at AFC – as we value growing our teams.
