Purpose of the role

We are seeking an inquisitive and analytical Master Data Analyst to join us full-time based in our brand new Global Head Office in Collingwood. This role sits within our highly successful Global Supply Chain business.

The Aesop Supply Chain Transformation strategy has a key foundational support of ‘Seamlessly Connected Systems’ to ensure that the organisation is positioned through systems, processes, and insights to provide customers with the best possible experience.

Improvements in Master Data has been identified as a key workstream in supporting this transformation and will be critical to ensure ongoing business efficiency, whilst building solid foundations for future growth.

As the Master Data Analyst, your prime responsibility will be to ensure that data is set up and maintained accurately and effectively within key systems. You will be responsible for data entry, running s, identifying missing data and collaborating with key stakeholders and data owners to source and complete data into the system. Additionally, you will assist with key projects within the Master Data team to implement master data standards, data governance and maintaining data quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up new items in key systems, ensuring all relevant master data is up to date and accurate.
• Ensuring strong master data processes are set up and maintained.
• Identify areas for data quality improvements and helps to resolve data quality problems through the appropriate choice of error detection and correction, process control and improvement
• s are developed for critical stakeholders to show missing data points, enabling them to maintain the data effectively
• Take ownership of new item set up, artwork transitions, bills of materials and node creation ensuring transition dates are accurate and data is complete.
• Support continuous improvement programs to drive improvements in the operational planning process
• Support educational programs of business competencies through best practice sharing
• Proactively encourage and undertake the technical know-how reciprocal sharing within the Systems Team
• Deliver project targets as required in a timely manner
• Provide input / support on IT projects for the wider Systems Team
• Provide training and support to other relevant Aesop staff

What We Are Looking For

• 2-3 years of experience working with data and operational support
• Knowledge of any automation tools, excel (VBA) and ing tool (e.g. Power BI, Tableau, SQL etc) will be of great advantage.
• Strong computer skills, proficient use of Microsoft Office (including MS Excel, MS PowerPoint) and Outlook.
• Experience with NetSuite (or similar ERP) an advantage
• Solid skills in data administration, design, and architecture
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Experience in training and supporting stakeholders through process change
• A collaborative and effective communicator who is highly attuned to achieve commercial outcomes underpinned by excellent planning skills
