Role purpose

Working alongside Product Managers, Project Managers and Development teams to define and deliver elegant, well-tested and scalable solutions that maximize commercial and customer value in line with the product roadmap OKRs and the broader Aesop business strategy

Role responsibilities include, but not limited to –

• Working with stakeholders to understand their needs, concerns and the environment in which they operate
• Gathering, organizing, and synthesizing large amounts of information from various sources, eliciting and evaluating business requirements
• Translating business and customer needs into clearly articulated features, detailed user stories and acceptance criteria.Constructing workflow charts and diagrams
• Ensuring requirements are understood by all team members from the discovery phase to story kick-offs and constant communication throughout the development process
• Working with product managers, contribute to the team’s understanding of business value to support prioritization of product team backlogs and prioritization during sprint planning meetings
• Participating in estimation sessions and technical discussions by describing the requirements and clarifying any questions raised
• Communicating requirements, dependencies, issues or risks identified during the analysis
• Assessing and documenting the current state to identify and recommend improvements and verification and validation of resulting requirements
• Developing documentation, including product requirements documents and models, concept papers, design specifications and end-user materials
• Advocating for Agile principles and practices within the team

What We Are Looking For

• 3+ experience in business analysis, with a focus on digital and technology products
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to translate technical concepts and terms for a non-technical audience
• Well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to influence to achieve desired outcomes
• Retail experience is highly desirable but not mandatory
• Passionate about building great products and solving customer and business problems.
