Position Purpose

In this role you will partner closely with all levels of management to understand the commercial drivers of their current and future talent needs, utilise strategic sourcing and search methods and create talent pools with a global mindset to ensure Aesop is equipped with the best talent to drive our international growth.

You will collaborate, innovate and provide forward thinking recruitment and search strategies in addition to leading end to end best practice recruitment; including diversifying our sourcing channels, writing and placing job adverts, screening, interviewing and facilitating assessments, promoting diversity by ensuring our recruitment strategies attract diverse candidates, and enhance the overall candidate experience.

This role sits within the Talent Acquisition team, providing an opportunity to work collaboratively with our global teams to develop cohesive and streamlined recruitment and sourcing approaches globally. What we are looking for:

• 3+ years’ experience within an in-house recruitment function, focusing on corporate roles with a specialist Digital, Data and Technology recruitment;
• Strong search and sourcing exposure;
• Proactive strategic search experience, ability to manage multiple priorities, desire to work with senior stakeholders and deliver in a fast paced and high performing environment;
• Exceptional interpersonal, negotiation and influencing skills;
• Experience managing external agency partners;
• Strong organisation skills and attention to detail;
• Knowledge of HRIS (Workday preferred);
• Understanding and appreciation of Aesop’s unique culture and a passion for the brand;

Main Responsibilities

• In conjunction with the Function Leads & HR Team to implement and maintain Aesop’s recruitment strategy for your respective area, ensuring immediate and future needs are considered
• Facilitate the end-to-end retail recruitment in each of Aesop’s current and prospective markets
• Communicate effectively with relevant hiring managers to understand and define resourcing requirements
• Tailor a recruitment strategy for each role (e.g. interviewing process, key skills and experiences required)
• Recognize vacancies and create new job descriptions where required, in partnership with hiring managers
• Advertise vacancies in the most appropriate and effective way
• Convey the Aesop Employee Value Proposition and programs which support this to potential candidates
• Screen applications, conduct initial interviews and further interviewing as required
• Communicate with relevant managers the process of the recruitment process and organize appropriate follow up actions
• Respond in a timely and professional manner to applicants
• Draft and negotiate job offers according to company guidelines
• Liaise with external recruiters as required
