Key Account Sales Manager Job Responsibilities

• Management of the entire sales process from start to finish
• Respond to customer inquiries regarding part availability and product usage
• Review customer RFQ’s and quote using established logic off historical pricing data from multiple sources while maintaining company margin goals
• Accurately manage RFQs and Quotes utilizing the Pentagon ERP System
• Proactively follow up with accounts with outstanding quotes and large bid packages
• Ensure needed compliance documentation is provided from the customer with each order
• Efficiently communicate on order status to the customer
• Follow up on Accounts Receivable if needed for assigned accounts
• Effectively communicate throughout the organization and through the customer base
• Develop positive relationships with clients and become the “Go-To” person for all facets for customer communication (procurement, engineering, manufacturing, quality, compliance, finance)
• Collaborate with other members of the sales team, technical team, and other departments to ensure effective communication with each account
• Listen to customer needs and challenges and develop unique solutions to help our customers solve problems
• Interface with business leadership and finance to support the sales forecasting process
• Lead and execute a business growth strategy for your territories and accounts
• Proactively market existing capabilities and products to assigned accounts and territories
• Leverage Aeromax Representative network for your assigned territories and accounts to understand customer needs and growth opportunities
• Identify new areas of growth for the business, develop and execute strategies to achieve sales goals for assigned territories and accounts
• Results yielding Domestic and International travel as required to support customer base

Minimum Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a sales and marketing role
• Strong computer proficiency with knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite
• Able to read, write, and communicate effectively in English

Preferred Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited University
• Part sales experience in Aerospace & Defense
• Experience utilizing Pentagon ERP or a similar ERP
• Understanding of US Government Contracting Processes for the Defense Logistics Agency
• Bilingual
