Job OverviewWe are currently seeking a Logistics Supervisor at our facility in Camden, AR.Weekend Shift Fri, Sat, Sunday (36 hours) 6AM to 6PMThe Logistics Supervisor accomplishes results through hourly and / or entry-level exempt employees.
This position monitors work operations on a daily basis for all transportation, shipping, and A&E (Ammunition and Explosives) activities in Logistics.
Also, actively assists or provides direction to direct s.Responsible for ing on the status of all assigned activities in process and for promptly advising management of any major problems involved in meeting schedules.
May supervise the review of program status and s on work load projections, facility utilization, and master plan schedule status and projection to conform with business plans.
Maintains contacts with inter-organizational and external representatives. Participate in briefings and technical meetings for internal and external representatives concerning specific and / or organizational projects or operations.

While the Monday – Thursday 4 / 10 work schedule is the most common at Camden, this position is expected to work our Friday / Saturday / Sunday 3 / 12 weekend shift (work 36 hours;

15% – Acts as a resource person to direct personnel and associate departments in the application and interpretation of Company Safety policies, management directives, standard practices as well as engineering, federal, state and local codes, standards, and specifications.
15% – Manage A&E storage facilities (includes daily activities, as well as capacity / consumption analysis & regulatory compliance)10% – DOT CDL License Management, Vehicle and fleet maintenance management and outbound carrier management10% – Outbound, Onsite transportation & Energetic and Hazardous Standard WorkRequirementsRequires a Bachelor’s degree in an appropriate discipline and one (1) years of progressively responsible experience in a directly related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Hazardous and Explosive Storage, Hazardous Material – 49CFR & IATA Trained / Certified. Strong Microsoft skills required specifically with Excel, as well as Oracle.
Must have strong verbal & written communication skills, analytical, organizational skills and be customer focused.Additional Requirements and Preferred Qualifications : Knowledge of : * Applicable codes, regulations, policies, and procedures regarding Inventory management and local and national transportation* Transportation and warehousing methods and procedures* Document and inventory control, and ing procedures* Preparation and interpretation of statistical data* Just in time transportation warehousing and manufacturing* Design schedules based on the TAKT time or customer demands* Mathematical principles and procedures* Computer systems and applicable software* Record keeping and ing procedures* Customer service skills* Organizational work process relationships* Materials, purchasing transportation service levels and manufacturing principles and their application to supply chain management strategies* Safety rules and regulations-Demonstrated abilities in team building, leadership and delegation skills to achieve project objectives are also required.
The applicant will be required to coordinate multiple activities simultaneously and to make real-time plan adjustments in response to problems and unexpected interim results.
90% of Enterprise IHCs are required for Camden)-OSHA compliant training as a Lift Director with an Instructor certification and Industrial Vehicle Operations with Instructor endorsementMay be required to obtain and maintain a U.
