Who We Are :

Soccer Holdings, LLC., is the parent company of professional soccer clubs Louisville City FC (USL Championship) and Racing Louisville FC (NWSL).

Both teams call Lynn Family Stadium in the Butchertown neighborhood home and operate out of the nearby Lynn Family Sports Vision & Training Center.

Louisville City launched in 2015 and quickly established a winning tradition, claiming USL titles in 2017 and 2018. Racing Louisville FC joined the NWSL as an expansion member in 2021, bringing top-tier professional sports back to Kentucky for the first time in nearly 50 years.

Position Overview :

The Digital Marketing Manager will be responsible for the strategic planning and execution of advertising and promotions for all Soccer Holdings, LLC, entities (Louisville City FC, Racing Louisville FC, Louisville City Academy, Racing Louisville Academy, Lynn Family Stadium, and Lynn Family Sports Vision & Training Center).

The ideal candidate should have a strong grasp of soccer culture, revenue generation, and a creative mind to help achieve the club’s marketing goals.

Work Schedule :

This is a full-time role based in Louisville, Kentucky, and will require work during evenings and weekends for games and other events.

Essential Duties :

• Responsible for developing and executing digital media buying strategy, including placement and tracking results / return on investment.
• Ensure the clubs are operating under best practices with SEO, SEM, OTT, display, and email marketing to enhance online visibility and reach a wider audience.
• Utilize analytics tools to track digital marketing performance, analyze data, and derive actionable insights. Optimize marketing strategies based on data-driven decisions.
• Devise creative and interactive digital advertising campaigns to engage fans, increase fan loyalty, and attract new followers.
• Collaborate with creative teams to develop compelling content for various digital platforms such as social media and mobile apps.
• Drive the marketing team’s promotional ideas surrounding games, team events, and other initiatives on digital channels, maximizing attendance and viewership.
• Explore opportunities to collaborate with sponsors / partners on co-branded digital campaigns, leveraging relationships for mutually beneficial marketing efforts.
• Provide digital marketing guidance for all departmental staff, including the communications team, graphic designers, and community engagement specialists.
• Other duties and special projects as assigned.

Qualifications :

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing or a related field preferred.
• 3+ years of professional marketing experience. Agency experience is a plus.
• Exceptional creative abilities and critical thinking that push the envelope and develop and implement fresh ideas.
• Ability to analyze a budget and project / forecast marketing program costs based on industry and historical data.
• Knowledge of marketing, ticketing support, partnership activations, media buying, promotions, event planning, digital media, social media, multicultural marketing, and the overall creative process.
• Strong PC skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite.
• Ability to maintain a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and some holidays.
• Successful completion of a pre-employment comprehensive background check.
• Must be legally authorized or able to obtain authorization to work in the US.
• Strong PC skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and general knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite.
