Job Description
Our Early Careers (EC) Talent Acquisition Team is responsible for our high-volume recruitment of graduates, apprentices & university placement students annually into our offices across Europe. As one of the largest recruiters in our sector, our high-volume recruitment is managed by our in-house EC recruitment team based in the UK, recruiting graduates, apprentices, and placement students across engineering, environment, project management, surveying, architecture & design, and much more.
We are looking for an experienced EC recruiter to join the team with a focus on Apprentice recruitment across all the sectors we operate in. The successful candidate will report into the EC Recruitment Lead for Europe, taking a lead on our apprentice recruitment from attraction through to selection. The role will have a UK & Ireland focus, while linking in with our recruitment partners in Europe. We are looking for someone with the vision to look at our whole apprentice recruitment piece holistically and drive it forwards.
Job Duties Will Include:
Partnering with the business to deliver their apprentice recruitment needs on time and with relevant high-quality students
Providing recruitment advice to the business including targeted advertising, the recruitment process, and the apprentice levy process
Supporting the delivery of our apprentice marketing & attraction campaign, including marketing collateral, advertising jobs, and coordinating & attending events
Analysing the success of our marketing & selection processes, and researching new initiatives for niche and hard to fill roles
Work closely with the Talent Management (TM) team to ensure a smooth transition from TA through to TM
Developing our social value initiatives to improve the diversity of our EC intakes
Coordinating and attending college & virtual careers events
Candidate management, ensuring all applicants are processed swiftly and communicated with clearly at all stages
Supporting the wider EC recruitment team with graduate recruitment where required
Strong focus on process improvement across all areas of our marketing & assessment, to ensure we are consistently delivering excellence and added value to the business, and differentiating AECOM from our competitors
Qualifications
A relevant internationally recognized degree, relevant experience or specific industry qualification in Marketing, HR or TA is preferred.
Experience in early careers recruitment – experience in apprentice recruitment would be a significant advantage
A good understanding of the apprenticeship levy in England
Experience of designing & implementing first class marketing & attraction campaigns for graduate and preferably apprentice recruitment
Experience of coordinating & delivering assessment days
Ability to influence key stakeholders in the business to ensure all processes are followed, and that all applicants go through the same fair and consistent assessment process
Experience of high-volume candidate management and preferably experience of using the ATS Smart Recruiters
Evidence of delivering process improvements, how this helped the recruitment process, and how it added additional value to the business
Excellent attention to detail, and ability to record and present data accurately and professionally
Excellent Excel and Word skills
Ability to work as part of a team and individually, and a drive to deliver excellence and to continuously improve
Ability to prioritise, multi-task and manage time effectively
