AE Global is looking for a Logistics Coordinator to manage high volumes of freight and resolve freight issues while maintaining a positive, fast response rate to inquiries.

Key Responsibilities

• Communicate with vendors by requesting information as needed, approving, and analyzing shipping documents, confirming shipping status of orders, or as needed to resolve freight challenges
• Resolve customer freight issues quickly and thoroughly
• Oversee the shipping status for each purchase order and provided a detailed analysis for internal teams
• Create and manage excel and google spreadsheets as needed
• Log freight information into company and project management freight software’s
• Save and archive freight documents
• Build long-term relationships of trust through open and interactive communication
• Provide accurate and complete information by using the right methods / tools
• Follow communication procedures, guidelines, and policies, understand the company’s ERP system and sales cycle as it pertains to logistics
• Suggest solutions when a process malfunctions
• Ensure inventory is accurate at all times
• Prepare and create courier labels and other shipping documents as needed
• Communicate with and maintain relationships with freight forwarders and customs brokers
• Maintain a high level of organization and record keeping by saving documents and logging information
• Follow communication procedures, guidelines, and policies

Qualifications

• Experience using Transportation Management Systems
• Highly responsive to team member, vendor, and 3rd party outreach
• High proficiency in Microsoft Office and Outlook
• Experience communicating and working with sales teams, project managers, vendors, customers, and carriers
• An aptitude to learn new tools or software
• Ability to articulate clearly and persuasively
• Ability to make logical, fact-driven decisions
• Team player and with excellent communication skills
• Fast-paced and detail-oriented
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
• Sales order and Purchase order management experience
• Experience in project management software, preferably Asana
• Experience working with NetSuite ERP systems
• Knowledge of international shipping regulations and customs procedures

Education

• Bachelors degree in supply chain or Logistics, Business, or other related field
• Minimum 3 years of Logistics coordinator experience
