Advocates for Healthy Transitional Living Hiring for Education Manager at De Pere, WI Full Time

We are looking for an Individual With an Education Degree with certifications related to Special Needs/Autism – Someone who has a passion to work in the classroom with children on the Autism Spectrum but also with a skillset to Manage and Grow our Education Program. Salary is $50K and negotiable based on experience

Primary Responsibilities: Deliver quality education in a way that most benefits the client and their team, while working toward established Person Centered Plan Goals

Demonstrate Mission, Vision and SHARED values: Safety, Hope, Awareness, Respect, Empowerment and Disruption

Take direction to educate, redirect, encourage, and empower students based on Person Centered Plan

Collaborate to develop and coordinate interventions for students based on needs

Provide recommendations, insight, and observations regarding student academics and behavior

Foster a positive, productive, trauma-informed learning environment for students and staff as a vehicle to improve student achievement

Ensure the completion of academic goals both virtually and in person to every extent possible

Timely submission of required service documentation and notes

Maintain accurate record of client information as required

Transportation of clients, as required

Prepares student education plans in consultation with parents and school districts

Designs instruction, both individual and small group, which parallels the general education curriculum

Primary contact for School districts

Promote the clinical team s role and leverage the clinical team to influence positive outcomes by prioritizing the initial 30-day assessments and the weekly SEL Therapeutic Sessions, and building time for these components concretely into the schedule; Monitor student progress, participates in review and revision of student s Individual Education plan when appropriate

Ensure quality, evidence-based forms of education are provided

Facilitate seamless delivery of Education Program with particular attention to daily implementation and delivery

Participate in meetings with School Partners

Participate in community events that strengthen the brand & services

Experiences and Qualifications

Education Degree

Be certified by the State of Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction in one of the following licenses: Cross-Categorical Special Education (1801), Intellectual Disabilities (1811) or Emotional Behavioral Disabilities (1830)

Experience with At-Hope population (preferred but not required)

Experience working with kids with Emotional and/or Behavioral Disabilities and Autism (preferred)

Pass all background checks

Proof of Automobile insurance and valid driver s license

This position is a full time, 9-month (September-June) position including Opportunity for Summer Program employment (July-August). Advocates offers supportive supervision, competitive pay, paid training and educational opportunities, and a flexible schedule.
