Background on this role

We have a newly established Talent Acquisition (TA) department, creating a ‘recruitment centre of excellence’ to provide exceptional outcomes to support the business, which will greatly impact the high quality of care we offer our patients. We already have some great recruitment processes and systems in place, but we are now on a journey to lift the quality of specialist recruitment services by ensuring recruitment best practice and an outstanding candidate and hiring manager experience.

What you will be doing in this role

This is a highly autonomous role, ing into our experienced and supportive Talent Acquisition Manager. This is a specialised recruitment role, focusing on Nursing. The TA team form part of the wider People & Culture team.

You will be at the mid level of your career, responsible for delivering high quality TA services in support of our business and people resourcing plans, with a specialty focus on nursing. The role spans all aspects of talent acquisition service delivery. Primarily, business partnering with key stakeholders and hiring managers, from the development of nursing candidate talent pools & channels through to advertising, candidate screening, interviews, offers and pre-employment compliance checks.

Additionally, this role is crucial to championing our employer brand by ensuring an exceptional candidate experience for all candidates throughout the recruitment process, by giving timely feedback and guiding them throughout their application journey.

Your role will support nursing recruitment campaigns and as the TA function evolves this role has the opportunity to grow with it.

Day to day you will be responsible for:

• Proactively sourcing nursing candidates, building candidate pools through various means (eg: LinkedIn, Seek Talent, social media, career expos, tertiary/TAFE relationships, etc)
• Deliver an exceptional candidate experience to all job applicants going through the recruitment process, by ensuring regular communication and building a relationship of trust
• Working strategically with key stakeholders to identify and implement nursing specific talent attraction strategies
• Enhance the hiring manager recruitment experience by assisting them with our applicant tracking system (PageUp) by providing guidance and training, as required

Who we are looking for

• You’ll be a highly experienced recruiter, matching the responsibilities outlined above, from either an internal and/or agency environment
• You’ll have experience with high volume recruitment within the healthcare sector. Highly desirable is for nursing specific recruitment experience
• You’ll have demonstrated experience in developing creative candidate sourcing & screening strategies and campaigns. Experience with assessment centres would be highly desirable
• You’ll have extensive experience using applicant tracking systems, ensuring candidate statuses and notes are tracked for accurate ing, compliance and talent pooling. Highly desirable is experience using PageUp
• You’ll be someone that lives and breathes customer service (i.e.: it is part of your DNA). Ensuring an outstanding candidate and hiring manager experience, with exceptional communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills
• You’ll be energetic, with proven experience working in a fast-paced environment with conflicting priorities
• You’ll be a compassionate, valued based person, who can work autonomously and as part of a team
