Work Hours/Shift: Full Time Days

You Will Be Responsible For:
Demonstrates behaviors at AdventHealth University in harmony with AHU’s “Four Words” of Nurture, Excellence, Spirituality, and Stewardship as well as AdventHealth’s Performance Standards of “Keep Me Safe, Love Me, Make it Easy, and Own It.”

Meets with students to make financial arrangements to pay student account and/or bring student account current. Conducts collections. Communicates with students through MARS.

Provides student clearance for the bookstore, state board, and diplomas.

Makes adjustments to student accounts. Runs student charges.

Provides financial clearance to AHU Records Office for official transcripts.

Works with the collection agency regarding delinquent student accounts.

Processes student account finance fees, age trial report and age accounts receivable spreadsheet.

Assesses student housing charges and program deposits to student accounts.

Processes third party invoices (Florida Prepaid, Vocational Rehab, Workforce and Conference Subsidy).

Processes BSN (Bachelor of Science Nursing), TEAS (Test of Essential Academic Skills) and graduation fees. Processes challenge exam and parking violation fees and refunds due to course withdrawal.

Exhibits and models the characteristics of a Christian professional. Cultivates positive working relationships with students and faculty. Assumes other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

What You Will Need:
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Effective oral, written and interpersonal communication skills

Excellence in teaching with good classroom management skills

Effectively communicates with college administration, faculty, staff, and others internal and external to the University

Organizational and administrative skills

Knowledge of computer programs related to educational duties which includes, but is not limited to, word processing, database management, complex data computation, analysis and graphics, presentation development, and distance learning technology

Visual and auditory skills to use computer and other presentation equipment, including telecommunications

Self-directed

GENERAL SUMMARY:
The Student Accounts Campus Supervisor – AHU meets with students, and communicates by phone, email and uses the MARS (My Academic Resource System) to discuss student financial accounts. The Supervisor provides financial clearance for the Registrar’s office for official transcripts, state boards and diplomas. The Supervisor processes a variety of student finance, test, parking violation and graduation fees. The Supervisor makes entries on aging accounts receivable spreadsheet, processes refunds due to course withdrawal, runs student charges, assesses student housing charges and processes 3rd party invoices. Actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all.
