Our Director of Finance position has a wage range of S120,000 to $140,000 per annum based on years of experience and a skills assessment during the interview stage. Increases are then reviewed throughout employment.

AdvanTec is looking for an experienced and dynamic Director of Finance to oversee our Industrial Division. The Director of Finance will develop the Industrial finance team and supply timely and accurate financial metrics.

Top 5 Responsibilities:
Lead and develop industrial finance team members. Coach, mentor and hold responsible. Build a culture that fits with AdvanTec’s core values.

Oversee all accounting operations including monitoring cash flow and working capital accounts, banking, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, inventory, A/R, A/P, and foreign exchange. Find creative ways to streamline these processes.

Providing leadership with financial summaries and dashboard reports including commentary, recommendations and actions plans.

Build strong relationships with sales and operations. Promote collaboration with other finance teams in the AdvanTec group of companies.

Ensure compliance with GAAP processes. Be responsible for timely and accurate reporting of financial information to appropriate groups, including government regulators and outside agencies.

What Success Looks Like:
By 3 months… You have now integrated all finance functions under your direction and the team is well synchronized. Your team has published two sets of month-end divisional income statements, balance sheets and statement of changes as well as forward analysis. You have gotten into a rhythm of weekly cash projection reporting. You have started efforts to improve working capital. You have become familiar with Visual Manufacturing ERP.

By 6 months… You are supplying a set of monthly financials by the 20th of the following month. You have evaluated the team you inherited and planned for coaching up or out for each team member.

By 12 months… You have a sufficient handle on the industrial group finance team that you are ready to take on some group level functions. You have led the budget creation process for the upcoming fiscal year.
