Advantaged Care operates five beautiful state of the art aged care residences across the greater Sydney area. We employ a team of nearly 500 people and we are growing with another two residences in our growth pipeline.

About the role:

We have an exciting opportunity for an energised and experienced recruitment professional to take on the Senior Recruitment Consultant / Team Lead role at Advantaged Care. If you are an experienced senior recruiter or recruitment lead who is looking to take their career to the next level then this is the ideal role for you. Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, you will have overall responsibility for the successful operation of the advantaged care recruitment function. You will lead and manage a small recruitment team but also be an active hands-on recruiter.

The role supports five fantastic facility mangers with all their recruitment needs as well as Senior Management at our Head Office in Padstow. This role requires someone who has a passion for working with people, developing positive working relationships and a motivation to drive successful recruitment outcomes. Vacancies within the business range from care roles, nursing, hospitality, senior management and corporate opportunities.

Key Responsibilities include:

• Overseeing the execution of all the day-to-day recruitment activities of the organisation including playing an active part in the process – advertising vacancies, sourcing/qualifying candidates, conducting interviews/assessments, employment checks, compliance, creating talent pools, making offers of employment and onboarding.
• Working with the executive team to recruit senior roles to the organisation.
• Development of attraction and retention strategies to attract and keep top talent to and in the business.
• Proactively identify and manage current and future workforce needs including building talent pipelines and funnel for future hires
• Providing recruitment advice to the Facility Managers and Executive Team.
• Reporting on key recruitment statistic and metrics to identify areas for improvement.
• Focus on continuous improvements within the recruitment function, candidate experience and retention strategies.

What we look for:

• Qualification in Business, Recruitment or Human Resources is desirable.
• 3 – 5 years senior recruitment experience. Aged Care or Health Care experience would be a distinct advantage but not essential.
• A motivated, self-driven individual with a positive attitude.
• Ability to take on the responsibility of overseeing the effective, timely and accurate delivery of recruitment function.
• A problem solver with fantastic organisational and time management skills.
• Exceptional communication, interpersonal skills and customer service skills.
• A true passion for quality in aged care
• Current working with vulnerable Police check COVID-19
• Vaccination certificate (Required doses in accordance with Government Health Advice)
