Overview of Position
Our software engineering team is actively focused on building web and mobile native applications for our next-generation SaaS robotics command & control platform. You will be participating in all phases of the software development life-cycle and be responsible for the creation and delivery of high-quality software from development to production environments in a R&D environment.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Help build a future where autonomous vehicles do awesome tasks to make the world better, save lives, and help establish a strong commercial future for CGC and related products
- Code for the web and native applications
- Interface with drones and robots SDKs
- Do whatever it takes to help the team smash goals!
- Contribute to developing a beautiful, reliable solution that our customers will love
- Bring ideas to the team across the board
Qualifications:
- Bachelor of computer science or equivalent experience
Experience:
- Circa 2 years of programming experience
- Working experience with Linux
- Experience with at least one of frontend, native and/or web application development.
- Coding, testing, and designing web and/or native applications
- Familiarity with relational databases and SQL
- Familiarity with Cloud providers such AWS
Skills:
- Linux (developer level) and at least one of the following:
- Java and Spring framework
- Javascript/Typescript/Nodejs/React
- Kotlin/Swift
- Working with docker
- Git-based SVNs
Key Behavioural Qualities:
- Jump at the opportunity to work with drones and autonomous vehicles
- Be excited to learn new languages and technologies
- Love building software solutions and will have at least a personal project
